In 2010, the first-ever FIFA World Cup Kick-Off Celebration Concert took place on 10 June at Orlando Stadium in Soweto, South Africa.

 

The three-hour main event included performances by Shakira, Alicia Keys, The Black Eyed Peas, The Dave Matthews Band, Juanes, Tinariwen and more.
